Liz Schneider
Liz began her dance journey with Sternfeld Dance Studio at the age of 3. She continued dancing into adulthood for her love of dance and connection that it brought. In 2013, she was given the opportunity to continue on the studio and did so for 12 years. During that 12 years, Liz found that her connection to those around her deepened, and she began her Social Work journey to continue her growth within the community.
In 2024, she developed the concept of Creativity in Motion. A space for recreational/therapeutic dance, as well as an open space for other art forms and events. Creativity in Motion will maintain the core values that originated with Sternfeld Dance Studio when it first began, while creating a path to meet the current needs of the community.
Liz continues to expand her knowledge of dance through CLI Studios, Acrobatic Arts, and classes in NYC. She has been able to take classes with Avi Miller/Ben Ofer, Jason Samuel Smith, Wade Robson, Denise Wall, and many others.
Liz graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a Masters in Social Work. She currently attends Antioch University to obtain her certification in Dance Movement Therapy and became a R-DMT.
Liz currently serves on the board for Upstage Productions. She has had the privilege of choreographing and performing in their shows, as well as opportunities with Valatie Community Theater, and directing at Catskill High School.
Caitlyn Patrick
Caitlyn was in and out of dance classes until age 9 when she fell in love with the art and hasn’t looked back since. With years of experience and a passion for movement, she now brings that same energy and enthusiasm to her teaching. Specializing in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and acro, she loves working with both recreational and competitive dancers. With three years of focused gymnastics technique training, she has a strong foundation that elevates her acro instruction.
Caitlyn has a deep love for choreographing and enjoys creating pieces that challenge dancers while ensuring they’re enjoying themselves. Whether it's for the stage or the studio, she finds joy in crafting movements that tell a story and have a creative flair. As a teacher, Caitlyn is dedicated to creating a fun, supportive space where dancers can grow, express themselves, and build confidence.
